Sophia's story

Sophia was educated in Xinxiang Medical University and worked as a medical practitioner for 5 years. Her keen interests in feminine beauty motivated her to further her studies in the field and she graduated with a CIBTAC Professional Beauty Therapy Diploma.

With a strong medical background and also her beauty knowledge, she is able to better understand her clients skin care needs regardless of their lifestyle, background or age group and create unique treatments for them.

Facials by Sophia have to be experienced to realise the difference from other facials from even the bigger names. She gives special personalised service and your skin will never feel so pampered before by the products she uses and the massages she gives.

She doesn’t just “ go through the motions” and I truly believe she enjoys what she does and takes pride if our skin shows improvement! I also appreciate the fact that even though English is not her first language she takes pains to get across her message to us , her clients.

Another thing I like is there is no hard sell by Sophia like I experience in other spas.Her knowledge of the products she uses is also impressive! So a truly relaxing , enjoyable and a pampering experience overall.

I am not one who bothers to write reviews, BUT, Sophia certainly warrants a glowing one! I have been going for regular facials for decades now, and once you find a facial therapist who understands your needs, you stick to them no matter what.

So, when my longtime therapist retired, I was left with the daunting task of finding a new one, hopefully near my residence. The only problem with this project is you have to risk trying out the new therapist before you know for sure, and the damage they might cause (to your face and pocket) is yours to deal with. So reviews became a critical entry barrier. Sophia made it to the very short shortlist.

And right from her professional online presence to ease of contact-ability to speed of responding to enquries and confirming/ reminders for upcoming trial appointments all the way to the actual consultation/ trial facial which was flawlessly excuted, she proved she was a rarity in Singapore. No hardsell, true passion for her craft, and genuine interest in building a long relationship with clients who are entrusting her with not just their face, but also their confidence.

She put in the work in her little cosy basement shop in Siglap Centre, and let the rest speak for itself. Hands down the best facial therapist in Singapore! Now, selfishly, just need to make sure she doesn’t retire anytime soon..
